What is collected
When an email address is entered in the Notify me form, we collect that address, whether news about custom colours was ticked, any colours chosen in the colour configurator, and the date and time of the sign-up. Nothing else is asked for, and no account is created.
Why it is collected
The address is used only to tell the sender when A:DHAN is available, and to share news about custom colours if that box was ticked. It is not used for anything else, and it is never sold or passed to other companies.
Where it is kept
Sign-ups are stored on our web server, which is provided by Hostinger, and a copy is sent to our own mailbox so that the team can see it. That mailbox is also provided by Hostinger and forwards to a Gmail account used by the team.
How long it is kept
An address is kept only for as long as it is needed to send the launch notification and news about A:DHAN. It can be removed at any time.
Removal and questions
To have an address removed, or to ask what is held about it, email info@adhanai.com. The address is then deleted from all lists. Rights under UK data protection law, including access, correction and deletion, are exercised in the same way.
Prayer calculation helper
The helper in the getting started guide works out prayer settings in the browser. To find a location, the place name typed in, or the coordinates when the device’s location is used, is sent to a free lookup service (Open-Meteo, and BigDataCloud for the device location). Prayer times entered are not sent anywhere and are not stored.
Cookies and tracking
This site sets no cookies and has no advertising or tracking tools. Text is set in the Inter typeface, which is loaded from Google Fonts, so Google receives the IP address of a visitor when a page loads. The hosting provider keeps standard server logs for security.
