A:DHAN began with years of using older Adhan clocks and finding them hard to set up every time.
Even basic changes, such as turning daylight saving time on or off, are a struggle. It happens twice a year, and it should take no effort.
When a much-used Adhan clock broke, we set out to build one that is simple to set up and needs no maintenance. That was the start of A:DHAN.
We kept it simple. There is no app to download. Setup happens once, by joining the clock's own Wi-Fi network from a phone and choosing the home Wi-Fi. After that it works. It detects its location, sets the time and refreshes prayer times daily, so there is nothing left to look after.
We wanted a clock that is set up once and then left alone. We hope A:DHAN is that clock for every home.
